Jbugs Barrel Nut For Accelerator Cable or Heater Cables

The VW Barrel Nut is used to connect the accelerator cable to the carburetor or to connect a heater cable to the heater box lever. The barrel nut is a metal tube or sleeve with a hole for a cable to pass through and a threaded hole for the screw which holds the cable in place. The barrel nut is used on all VW Beetles, Super Beetles, Karmann Ghias, Type 2 Bus models, Type 3s, Things and Vanagons from 1954 through 1983.
