This black rear engine tin without hoses or heat risers, seals off excess exhaust heat from the engine compartment making your Air-Cooled Volkswagen that much cooler. Product fits most 1300cc-1600cc based applications.
Note: The engine tin is not designed for use with fuel injected engine compartments. While the tin may fit the fuel injected engine, there may be a large gap between the engine tin and the body.
If you have a 1975 and later fuel injected VW we recommend sourcing original tin from a junkyard or other source of used parts
